Whitney Houston, superstar of records, films, dies 1963 - 2012

As I lay me down
Heaven hear me now
I'm lost without a cause
After giving it my all

Winter storms have come
And darkened my sun
After all that I've been through
Who on earth can I turn to

I look to you
I look to you

After all my strength is gone
In you I can be strong

I look to you
I look to you

Yeah

And when melodies are gone
In you I hear a song

I look to you

After losing my breath
There's no more fighting left
Sinking to rise no more
Searching for that open door

And every road that I've taken
Led to my regret
And I don't know if I'm gonna make it
Nothing to do but lift my head

I look to you
I look to you

Yeah

And when all my strength is gone
In you I can be strong

I look to you
I look to you
Oh yeah
And when melodies are gone
In you I hear a song

I look to you

(my levies have broken, my walls have come)

Coming down on me

(crumbling down on me)

All the rain is falling
(the rain is falling, defeat is calling)
Set me free
(I need you to set me free)
Take me far away from the battle
I need you
Shine on me

I look to you
I look to you

After all my strength has gone
In you I can be strong

I look to you
I look to you

And when melodies are gone
In you I hear a song

I look to you

Yeah
I look to you
Yeah
I look to you

I hadn't heard of this song until now.
People always says "things happen for a reason."
But Not to never hear such a magnificent voice, now it is silenced.
This song, I believe, is taking on so many many different meanings now.....She is now @ peace, she is not battling her pain. She is looking to him. She was a light beyond compare despite her troubles.

For me, as my journey is w/music & words....this means my strength after my storm & storms....I find peace....I continue my journey w/Whitney Houston in my heart...there is a new angel today & even tho I don't hear her melodies anymore....she will sing forever...

Superbowl XLVI February 5, 2012

The Red, White & Blue Teams are gonna battle it out.....Let the game begin!!!

WOW, I am older than the Superbowl.....well, not by much...I have 3 or so months on this tradition.....but are YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL??

Who are you cheering for? Cheer loud & yelling @ your tv is acceptable!!

What are you game plans? Whether you stay @ home, go to a party @ a friends or go out.....be smart & be safe!!

What food do you like to have, serve, or go out for?

Do you have any superstitions that you believe or do so YOUR team will win?
Do you cross every appendage? Do you do a certain dance? What do you do to insure your team wins....??

I don't like saying "May the best team win" Both teams are @ this game because they are great teams.
NYG has been around forever...do you know....trivia...When did The GNY Giants enter NFL? 1925, if I have my source correct. When did the NE Patriots start? 1959, again, if I have searched correctly.....So.......

"The Giants were one of five teams that joined the NFL in 1925, but the only one admitted that year which still exists. The team ranks third among all NFL franchises with seven NFL titles: four in the pre–Super Bowl era (1927, 1934, 1938, 1956) and three since the advent of the Super Bowl (Super Bowls XXI (1986), XXV (1990), and XLII (2007). Their championship tally is surpassed only by the Green Bay Packers (13) and Chicago Bears (9). During their history, the Giants have featured 15 Hall of Fame players, including NFL Most Valuable Player (MVP) award winners Mel Hein, Frank Gifford, Charlie Conerly, Y. A. Tittle, and Lawrence Taylor."

"Boston had previously been home to several NFL teams. The first was the Boston Bulldogs, which lasted only one season (1929). They were followed by the Boston Braves/Redskins, from 1932 to 1936. They had played first at Braves Field and then at Fenway Park. The team did not draw well, even in their final season when they reached the NFL Championship Game, and moved to Washington following the 1936 season. The Boston Yanks played from 1944-1948 before moving to New York to become the New York Yanks."

Trivia: What other NFL team was from Boston but changed their name......Boston Redskins = Washington Redskins.....

ENJOY Superbowl XLVI!!!!
GO GO GO New England Patriots!
